  1. I love that I get to not only discover some amazing businesses that provide products and services that appeal to me and my needs, but also that I get to meet online and in real life, the fabulous women behind these businesses. (and they are happy to help with my business as well!)

  2. Personal service from people that you just automatically trust? weird huh, but being a mummy is like a modern day mason society ;) That is all, I have a baby tugging at my leg.

  5. We are bonded through passion and understanding.
As mums in business, however big or small, we all have the same doubts and we share the same silly stories and unknowns of this face paced tech world.
We all have a past life in the workforce, and now we have kids we are not sitting at home watching daytime TV. I am living a creative life and teaching my kids that mum not only can make great toast but can create a business for herself that keeps her sane.

  10. I love that we all do it for the same reasons - our family. I love the support you get for other whams, and its good to be able to get together and get some perspective on other ideas. I have now got a little group of whams i work closely with, and the best thing is the love and support we all give each other. Plus i find we offer something special in business that other larger companys might not. LOVE. We love what we do, and why we do it, and it shows through our work and customer support :)

The second connection is that we know how hard it is juggling it all
The third connection is the support and advice
The fourth is meeting up inreal life for coffe and cake
The fifth our passion for our roles as mum's and business women is just awesome
The sixth is our different skills and talents get shared around between us

  14. I love the unsaid understanding. She empathises with exactly what you are going through outside of your business. She gets how it adds extra dimensions to our work; not only challenges but an added depth to what we produce.

  16. Working with other Mums there is a tangible bond, an understanding and a cameraderie. There is a shared focus - to get the job done with as little fuss as possible because, let's face it, we really don't have all day. And there is the broadest range of problem-solving and lateral thinking because that's just part of our day to day lives.

  17. I love working with other Mums, as we are all in the same boat, juggling life, children and a job. I've just recently opened my VA business working from home and looking after my 10 month old little boy. I am loving being able to have the best of both worlds. I love communicating with other working mums as we all share the same passion and zest in life. To be the best Mum we can to our children, but to be able to use our minds and be creative.

  20. Setting up my own business has always been a big dream, as was being a mum. Getting my business started was a little easier than getting to be a mum, but thanks to IVF I got to that special gift too. Having this opportunity to maintain the best of both worlds is so special and extraordinary. Working with fellow biz mum's is amazing, I find they inspire me in all they do with their businesses and families. Having the opportunity to work together and beside each other in our businesses is such a great experience, and one I truly treasure.

  21. Simply... WAHMs understand. 2am emails, interupted calls and child boasting are no bother while getting the job done - well, and with a smile.

(You could easily call up for a logo design and get toddler tantrum advice too... FREE!)

  22. I love the support. I love the new friendships. I love the lack of politics. I love that other mums in business go out of their way to help. I love that I can draw on their knowledge and experience and share my one. Whta's not to love? Kate (Babysitters and More)
